We observed significant increases of Japanese beetle adults at half of our tracking sites (Bertie, Edgecombe, Wake, Lee, Montgomery, and Henderson counties) this week. This heightened flight activity will likely continue for the next 2-3 weeks. If you are applying a product for preventive grub control, now would be the time to apply if you live in these areas.
